Dr. Barnsley Brown is a self-proclaimed “steel magnolia” in a long line of strong Southern women. She taught at Wake Forest University, Duke, and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill before starting her own business, Spirited Solutions Professional Speaking and Coaching, over thirteen years ago.

Dr. Barnsley loves helping busy professionals, women, and business owners who want to have more time, energy, and money right now! She is an active member of the prestigious National Speakers Association, the American Society of Training and Development, and a number of other professional organizations. She is also an ordained Interfaith Minister and has taught the Reiki Method of Natural Stress and Pain Relief in five countries across the globe.

Dr. Barnsley has been featured in many publications and is a frequent guest for online and offline radio shows. About our Silent Auction

Our Silent Auction will help raise funds for our annual scholarships, awarded to local individuals to help pay for higher education expenses.  One award is merit-based, the other is need-based. The scholarships are named in honor of two long standing members of BPW (Dr. Frazier still attends our meetings). The two $1,000 scholarships are awarded to applicants that have applied and are enrolled in or matriculating to NC colleges/universities. The scholarship winners will be announced at our April meeting.

Please help us reach our goal of awarding two $1,000 scholarships by contributing or placing a bid on one of our items.  The Silent Auction is cash and carry that evening.  We can accept cash, checks, and credit cards.  Learn more about our scholarships here.
