BPW/Triangle develops a powerful network of leaders to advocate, educate and cultivate connections.
In the past 100 years we have transitioned from a culture of mass media toward a culture of “connection” enabled by technology and online tools -- social media. This new trend has forced promotional marketing teams to evolve and change their approach.
But, how much has really change?
In November we welcome UNC School of Journalism's Dulcie Straughan as our special guest speaker.
Speaking about how to use the Media to promote everything from business to social justice issues and organizational initiatives, Straughan will show us how some strategies and tactics for using media to promote organizations are still the same as they were 100 years ago---and how social media has had an impact.
