BPW Triangle develops a powerful network of leaders to advocate, educate, and cultivate connections.

BPW Triangle is a 501(c)(4) organization solely run and operated by volunteers, and rely on charitable donations & sponsorship's to support our programming.

Volunteer Opportunities:

We urge every one of our members to get actively get involved in our chapter.  

Everyone’s time is valuable; therefore we have multiple opportunities ranging from one-time projects, to committee positions that have time requirements that vary from 1-4+ hours a month.

Open Board/Chair Positions (time commitment range ~ 4-8+ hours per month):

  • Marketing Chair (~6-8 hours a month)
    • Skills needed: Project Management, esp. scheduling and delegation, Tech-savvy, Wild Apricot experience a plus, Communication or marketing background, and strategy-driven.
  • Secretary (~ 4 hours a month)
    • Maintains Board Notes, Maintains Calendar, and steps in where needed
  • Social Chair (~4 hours a month)
    • Members just want to have fun! We are looking for an event coordinator or someone that loves putting together social and team building events for our members.

Open Committees positions:

  • Program Committee:
    • Create monthly events on Wild Apricot - information given to you from the Program Chair
    • Back up to Programs Chair in outreach to speakers as needed.
    • Coordinate speaker's A/V needs with Logistics and/or Prestonwood Country Club
  • Marketing Committee:
    • Graphic Designer: This person will closely with the Marketing Chair to understand the overall vision and messaging. They will create marketing assets for various communications (website, email/newsletter, social media), and review and revise media from outside (e.g., adjusting photos from various events)
    • Newsletter Coordinator: Every month take information given to you from each committee, put it in newsletter form and distribute it to our distribution data base. We are looking for someone that wants to help us bring our current newsletter to the next level.
    • Photographer: We are looking for someone to document all of our events 
  • Fundraising/Scholarship Committee
    • Fundraiser: We need someone to coordinate fundraising events throughout the year
    • Fundraiser: We need someone to reach out to possible corporate sponsors to help us raise funds for our scholarship fund
  • Social Committee
    • Committee members to assist Social Chair as needed.
  • Membership Committee
    • Like meeting new people, then this committee is for you. Help Membership Chair as needed.
