Introduce Yourself
I am the Branch Manager for Scott Logistics in Cary, NC, where I am responsible for obtaining new accounts and retaining current ones through competitive pricing and quality customer care. I came to Scott Logistics after six years of experience in the oil recovery department of Noble Oil Services, from which I gained a basic knowledge of the trucking industry and fined tuned my skills in customer relations. When I first started at Scott Logistics in 2014, it was me and one other person running the branch and slowly but surely our office grew into a five-million dollar team of eight. Our team works together to help satisfy our customers' needs in this ever changing market.
In my spare time I am heavily involved in my community and volunteer on a regular basis for various organizations. I am past ambassador for my local Chamber of Commerce, where I graduated from Leadership Academy in 2013, and am a current member of Sanford Business and Professional Women's organization - but ask anyone who knows me and they will tell you they know me best through my involvement with the Jaycees.
Through the Jaycees I have obtained many skill sets that I may not have had the opportunity to acquire otherwise. Since joining in 2011, I have held numerous positions including Secretary, Vice President and President of 2 local chapters (Cary 2020, Central Carolina 2014). I've also served on the state board in various capacities over the past decade including Regional Director, Program Manager and NC Jaycee Vice President three times - including this year.
In my free time I enjoy taking pottery classes, reading, kayaking and snuggling with my dog, Daisy.
