Hi, I’m Micheline, the founder and designer behind Daring Designs, a handcrafted tote bag brand dedicated to blending eco-conscious values with elegant, fashion-forward style. I carefully select unique fabrics and incorporate repurposed coffee burlap sourced from local cafés, creating bags that are as bold and beautiful as the women who carry them. Every piece is thoughtfully designed and sewn in my studio, combining quality craftsmanship with a passion for meaningful, purpose-driven design.
My mission is to create bags that make women feel empowered, confident, and strong—like they can take on the world with style and intention.
In addition to running my creative business, I work full-time as a disability analyst for the state, where I evaluate medical evidence and navigate complex medical and vocational systems to make informed determinations on disability claims. This role has sharpened my analytical thinking, attention to detail, and commitment to service—qualities that deeply influence how I approach my business.
