Speakers Bio:
Mary is founder and president of Mary C. Owens, Inc., a Coaching and Consulting company. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and a Master's of Social Work Degree with a concentration in Mental Health. Mary is also a Certified Life Transitions Coach and Certified DiSC® Practitioner.
After 25 years of working in the mental health field as a Mental Health Counselor and Program Director, Mary switched her focus to coaching individuals going through major life transitions. Throughout her career, she has helped hundreds of people manage the fears and overwhelm, that often come with change, so they can develop a positive mindset, start taking meaningful action, and create amazing life transitions.
In addition to her work with individuals, Mary helps teams develop an understanding of individual behavior styles, improve communication, and learn more effective conflict resolution skills. As a result of her trainings, teams experience increased job satisfaction, productivity, and improved client relationships.
