About our speaker:

Christina Motley is a veteran, integrated Chief Marketing Officer (CMO)-on-Demand with 300+ creative, marketing, business, leadership and civic awards. She is a published author, dynamic speaker, corporate trainer, serial entrepreneur, and according to her Columbia University daughter, “World’s Best Mom.”

Her successful implementation of integrated marketing strategies has resulted in her servicing multiple clients – from start-ups to publicly-held enterprise - across a variety of industries, including working on top Fortune 500 brands, including Aetna, Advance Auto Parts, BB&T, Dell, HSBC, IBM, Johnson & Johnson, P&G, Smithfield Foods, Waste Management and others since 1992.

She served as a key contributor, generating $15M at Datatel (now Ellucian),  $5B and the 3000th store opening for Advance Auto Parts, as well as helped grow Comprehensive Computer Solutions, Inc. (CCS) from $12k to over $2M, expanding into international markets. Additionally, Christina founded and managed a full-service marketing agency in 1992, winning multiple awards, including “Best Local Agency in Southwest Virginia” and the “Roanoke Regional Chamber Small Business of the Year” 2 consecutive years. She merged the business in 2003, earned designation as one of  Top 10% of firms accepted into the American Association of Advertising Agency (4 As); and managed the transition efforts, prior to selling the agency in 2005.

Christina holds a dual bachelor’s degree in Communications and English, an Executive Certificate from St. Louis John C. Cook business school in Internet & Digital Marketing and is a graduate of Roanoke Valley Leadership Program. She instructs for North Carolina’s community colleges and ASPE-ROI, a division of Fortis College and has authored three books, as well as published hundreds of articles and earned media coverage for clients from AP, Forbes, Media General, The New York Times, Boston Globe, Wall Street Journal, Good Housekeeping, NPR, ABC, NBC and CBS.  

A dynamic presenter, college instructor and member of the National Speakers Association, Christina has delivered keynotes and workshops to diverse audiences of up to 500 at conferences, associations and in classrooms.
